First of all, trust common sense instead of leaders who may want to sacrifice our health for their own gains. Tampa Mayor Jane Castor is definitely not one of them. I just finished a ZOOM meeting with her and about 15 nonprofit and faith-based representatives. Her sincerity really shone through, and she has been outspoken in promoting efforts to limit the contact that can lead to contagion. Leadership sometimes requires unpleasant medicine to overcome difficult situations. This is one of those times. It’s really tough to endure, but let’s be patient and trusting for as long as it takes. Pay it forward and pass it on.
