Doing good is worth even more in tough times
“People shouldn’t have to earn kindness. They should have to earn cruelty.” Maggie Steivater wrote that. She certainly knew that kindness should be as available as air. There’s plenty of unearned cruelty these days, but caring people keep those flames from consuming us. Everyone has a fire extinguisher if we choose to use it. Pay it forward and pass it on.
