…while the world is putting on its shoes. That comes from Mark Twain, who may have said that to describe people who thumb their nose at reality. He certainly would if he were alive today. Ignoring COVID’s reality (and our obligation to not infect others) is certainly living a lie that’s already traveled around the world. It’s unkind, it’s uncaring, and it’s totally unacceptable.
