Sometimes, too much reflection spoils the soup. Much of the journalism since the Chauvin conviction does no favors by fixating on the graphically horrible death of George Floyd. Instead, let’s act on its lessons to reverse a pattern of injustice that dates back centuries. We can start by using the kindness that connects EVERY community. This common thread can be sewn into a coat of many colors that every caring person can proudly wear. It’s better than reopening wounds that need to heal ASAP. Pay it forward and pass it on.
